Terms of Service

1. Description of the Service

EzTrans is a translation bot for LINE groups. Once a language has been selected in a group (by tapping it in the language menu or typing a language command), EzTrans translates messages between Chinese and the selected language and posts the translations as replies. Translations are generated automatically by AI.

2. Free quota and monthly plan

• Each group can have up to 20 messages translated free of charge per day; each person can use at most 20 free translations per day in total across all groups and private chats.
• The monthly plan costs NT$400 per 30 days. Once it is activated, the group is not subject to the daily limit of 20 translations.
• You can get a payment link by typing “/pay” in the group, or by adding EzTrans as a friend and messaging it in a private chat. Payment can be made by credit card or ATM transfer to a virtual account, and the plan is activated once payment is complete.
• Plans are not automatically renewed or billed. EzTrans will remind you to renew before the plan expires; if it is not renewed, the group reverts to the free quota.
• The prices and plan details announced on the official website shall prevail.

3. Refunds

• Under Taiwan’s Consumer Protection Act, within 7 days after payment and activation, you may request cancellation of the contract by emailing [email protected] with your transaction number. You do not need to give a reason, and we will refund the fees you have paid.
• After 7 days, fees for the current period are non-refundable, and the Service will continue to be provided until the end of that period.

4. Rules of use

• Before inviting EzTrans to a group, please let the group members know that messages will be translated.
• Please comply with LINE’s terms of service and the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), and do not use the Service to spread content that is illegal, fraudulent, or harassing, or that infringes the rights of others.
• Please do not use automated programs to send messages in bulk, or attempt to hack or interfere with the Service.

If these rules are violated, we may suspend or terminate the Service for the user or group concerned.

5. Translation results

AI translations may contain errors or omissions. For important legal, medical, contractual, financial, or similar matters, please double-check the original meaning with the other party.

For damage resulting from reliance on translations, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence on our part, compensation to paying users is limited to the fees paid for the current period, and we are not liable for compensation to free users. Where mandatory provisions of law provide otherwise, those provisions shall apply.

6. Service interruptions

We may suspend the Service for maintenance, upgrades, or failures at our service providers, and we will try to announce this in advance through our LINE Official Account.

7. Changes to these terms

When these terms are changed, we will update the date on this page. We will notify users of significant changes through our LINE Official Account before they take effect. If you continue to use the Service after the changes take effect, you will be deemed to have accepted the revised terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
